Starting next week! Get a friend or partner and enjoy a night of beginner's wheel throwing! 💕

Partners will be instructed in the basics of throwing clay on the potters' wheel, making unique cylinders and bowls, and choose 2 pieces each to glaze and fire that you get to keep.

Come prepared to get messy and have a great time! Partners share a wheel.

Cost is $75 per person or $150 for a pair; each person must register.

Learn to explore and translate real life textures into stylized ones with the use of digital painting software! 😄

The goal of the course is to learn how to capture the essence of a material and effectively use it to enhance the geometry of a 3D mesh. Students will learn how to use color, how to create the illusion of light and shadow, and how to capture the intricacies of what makes a material unique.

Software Required: Adobe Photoshop

Hardware Required: Drawing Tablet, Personal Computer for homework

Join GBC for an introductory wheel throwing class on Fridays! 🤩

The first Friday we will learn the basics of wheel throwing, creating bowls and cylinders. The second Friday we will learn to trim our pieces, create and attach handles to turn our cylinders into mugs, and experiment with different decorative techniques. The third Friday we will glaze our pieces and learn about cone 10 firing in the kiln.

All materials and firings are included. Ages 18 and up!

Starts up next Friday! Join us for a two-session workshop to learn the basics of sculpting clay! 😍💕

During the first session, participants will learn clay sculpting basics and begin their projects. Students are encouraged to bring project ideas, or sculpt a suggested project. During the second session, participants will continue their sculptures.

Each participant can expect to take home 2-4 small sculptures. This workshop + its additional glaze class counts towards the Handbuilding prerequisite for Open Studio.

STARTING UP SOON! Don't miss out on learning the basics of rock climbing! 🤩🤩

Our youth class, for ages 13-17, starts this Thursday! Our adult class, for ages 18 and up, starts on Monday!

Learn how to safely attach yourself to the rope, how to properly belay your climbing partner, as well as how to safely bring them back to the earth. Students will also learn basic anchor building fundamentals, movement techniques, and other skills applicable to outdoor climbing.

Have fun learning a new skill with others!
