Guess what?! We have big news! We have classroom space, which means a new schedule will be posted soon! We want to give a huge shout out to , we’ll be teaching out of their buildings. Make sure you stop in and say hey and thanks! It’s a great opportunity to check out the gym while you’re at it. Being ready for the unknown takes both physical and mental preparedness. We, as another local business, find the actions of these people to be disgusting and completely unacceptable. For any eligible citizen wanting to take a concealed carry class, we will be offering a 20% discount on our services in order to help the people of our town feel more comfortable and protected. This discount is good through April. This will also apply to 1 on 1 or small group training and our situational awareness simulator training also. Search and Rescue January 19, 2023

On January 19, 2023 Deputy Reitz, along with a member of the Search and Rescue team from the Elko County Sheriff's Office, responded to the Montello area where a man was stuck in his home due to deep snow. The man had a physical disability and needed to be moved to stay with a friend as he was running low on propane for heat and supplies. They were able to access the mans home with the Sheriff's Office tracked UTV (side by side) and take him safely to a neighbors house.
This is a unique service that the Sheriff's Office has the responsibility to perform and we love the opportunities it provides us to work with, and serve the members of our County. If you are interested in serving Elko County and the great citizens here, please reach out an join our Search and Rescue Team!
