Huge shoutout to Mr. Merrill for going above and beyond for his students today! π₯β¨
Taking the time to make pancakes for students was such a thoughtful and kind gesture. Itβs the little moments like these that make a big impact and help students feel cared for, welcomed, and appreciated. Thank you for always creating positive memories and making our school community so special! π

As we approach the end of the school year, please take a moment to speak with your student and help ensure the following items are completed: all library books are returned, lunch balances are paid in full, students check the lost and found for any missing belongings, and Chromebooks and chargers are turned in to avoid replacement charges.

Last week was a very busy and exciting week for our students. Our 6th graders enjoyed a wonderful Lunch with the Principal, where they had the opportunity to ask questions, share ideas, and learn helpful advice as they prepare for the next school year.
We also partnered with Nevada Outdoor School to provide engaging lessons on the importance of being outdoors, staying active, and developing healthy habits in nature. Students participated enthusiastically and learned valuable skills about outdoor safety and appreciation.
Our 5th graders took part in a calming and energizing yoga class led by our volunteer yoga instructor, Marisa. The students loved the session and expressed interest in continuing mindfulness and movement activities.
Thank you to our CIS Full-Service Community Coordinator, Oyuka, for organizing and supporting these meaningful experiences for our students.
