🐾🇺🇸 Happy National Dog Day! 🇺🇸🐾

Today, we celebrate our four-legged heroes and the incredible bond they share with those who serve.

Military working dogs have served alongside our armed forces for decades, helping detect explosives, locate missing personnel, patrol military installations, and protect service members in dangerous environments. Their courage, loyalty, and dedication have saved countless lives.

For many Veterans, dogs continue to provide support long after military service ends. Whether as service dogs, therapy dogs, or beloved companions, they offer comfort, encouragement, and unconditional love through life's challenges and triumphs.

Today, we honor all the K-9s who have served our country and the special connection they share with the men and women who wore the uniform.

At 95 years old, a West Virginia Korean War Veteran recently checked an incredible adventure off his bucket list by completing a tandem skydive! His story is a powerful reminder that courage, resilience, and a sense of adventure don't have an expiration date.

Whether it's earning a degree, starting a new career, learning a new skill, or even jumping out of an airplane, it's never too late to pursue your goals.

If your financial circumstances have changed since you completed your FAFSA®, don't assume your financial aid package is set in stone.

You may be able to request a professional judgment (aid adjustment) from your school's financial aid office if you've experienced situations such as:

🔹 Divorce or separation
🔹 Death of a family member
🔹 Significant medical expenses
🔹 Incarceration
🔹 Loss of rental income or income from a court settlement

Your school's financial aid office will review your request and may ask for documentation to support your situation.
