Elkins School District (ESD) is proud to serve the students and families of Northwest Arkansas and strives to make our online platforms safe and effective for all ages. ESD considers its social media platforms to be moderated and limited public forums. As a result, ESD reserves the right to remove comments that are clearly off-topic and inappropriate, including:

Profane or obscene language or content
Content that promotes, fosters, or perpetuates prejudice or discrimination against protected classes
Sexually harassing, lewd, bullying, harassing, or discriminatory content
Conduct or encouragement of violence, criminal activity, or truancy (please note that threats made against school property is a Class H felony under state law and persons who communicate threats will be reported to law enforcement)
Spam or comments that include links to external online sites
Commercial solicitations or advertisements including promotion or endorsement
Information that personally identifies students or otherwise infringes on a child’s legal rights related to education
Information that is profane, slanderous, or defamatory against ESD personnel or staff
Information that may tend to compromise the safety or security of individuals, public schools, or public school systems
Violators of our community standards may have their comments removed from ESD social media platforms. Continued egregious violations of this policy may prompt ESD to block or further restrict an individual’s ability to comment on, or engage with, our official social media platforms. Thank you for doing your part to create a positive social media experience in our community.

WOW! What an INCREDIBLE way to end camp for our Elkins Cheer Program!

❤️NCA staff said they couldn’t decide between our JH or SH team, so they chose our DISTRICT to win the overall camp NCA Herkie Award! This is the last award given out at camp and is voted on by staff for the team showing the most leadership, sportsmanship, and teamwork in the whole camp! What an honor for the entire Elkins Cheer program to be chosen for this! 🥹💜

🏆1ST PLACE in junior high band chant!

🥈A very close 2nd in junior high game day cheer!

🏅3 athletes were chosen for the All American team! Congratulations to our Adaleigh, Zoey W., and Anbria!

💪Zoey Wooten won TOP GUN JUMPER for junior high! She had to compete against other talented athletes doing 5 connected jumps in a row, and she took it home! Wow! Way to go Zoey!

💙BLUE superior ribbons for our final round of evals for both our Band Chant & Game Day Cheer!

NCA Camp Day 2! 💜🏅 Our team received the Herkie Award, which is voted on by other teams for the team who shows the most leadership, teamwork, sportsmanship, and positive values. We are SO proud of these ladies for standing out and being positive examples for others! Our camp buddy let us know that EVERY other team in our eval group voted for us today! 🥹👏 That’s how we do it, Elks!

⭐️9 more of our athletes were nominated for All American and will have the opportunity to try out for the All American title tomorrow! Let’s give it up for Kylie, Nelli, Maddie, Hadleigh, Ryla, Adaleigh, Anbria, Aubree and Kinlee! 👏 This is the most All American nominations we’ve ever had as a team! 🎉

⭐️Zoey Wooten received a Pin It Forward pin from our camp buddy for standing out as an incredible leader, cheerleader, and role model! Pin It Forward recipients are described as “the reason America needs cheerleaders.” Way to go to our Zoey!

💜We worked HARD and pushed through the tiredness to become the best we can. Our stunts and performances improved, and we gained new skills!

We can’t wait to see our friends and family tomorrow as we perform and compete for the first time as a team! Wish these ladies LUCK Elk Fam! 🍀
