🏆 CHAMPIONS AGAIN! 🏆

Huge congratulations to the Elkin Middle School Girls Tennis Team on an absolutely phenomenal year! They have officially captured the Foothills Middle School Athletic Conference Championship and completed a spectacular undefeated season! 🎾

This incredible achievement continues our school's longstanding tradition of excellence on the courts. Year after year, these athletes show what dedication, teamwork, and true sportsmanship look like.

A massive thank you to Coach Janet Moseley and Coach Gary Haynes for their exceptional leadership, guidance, and endless support in mentoring these young athletes to success. We couldn’t do it without you! 💙💛

Good afternoon, EMS students and families! We hope you have had a great weekend. Please take a moment to review the Events of the Week for October 12-16, 2026. Don't forget that there is NO SCHOOL for students on Monday and Tuesday, October 12th & 13th, due to teacher workdays. Students will return to school on Wednesday, October 14th. First quarter report cards will go home with students on Thursday. Our picture make-up day is this Friday, October 16th. Students who were absent on the first picture day will have their picture taken on Friday. Students wishing to have their picture remade should bring the original picture packet back to the photographer in order to have their picture remade. Please reach out if you have any questions.

🎉 Celebrating Success and Student Achievement! 🎉

We are so proud to celebrate the accomplishments of our students and teachers as we reflect on our test scores from the 2025–2026 school year! 🏆

Our students and teachers put in so much hard work, dedication, and effort, and it truly paid off! Our wonderful test scores are a reflection of the commitment, perseverance, and teamwork happening in our classrooms every day.

Today, we celebrated the progress we’ve made, the goals we’ve achieved, and the amazing things that happen when students and teachers work together toward success!

Congratulations to our students, teachers, and staff on an outstanding 25-26 school year! Your hard work makes us proud, and we can’t wait to see what we accomplish this year! 💙💛

📚🎓 Exploring the Future at EHS! 🎓📚

Our 8th grade students visited the Elkin High School Course Fair this morning to explore course offerings, discover new interests, and learn about exciting career pathways! We love seeing our students begin thinking about their futures! 💙💛

There’s still time to join us! 8th-11th grade students and parents are invited to come back out TODAY from 4:00–6:00 PM to learn more about the courses offered at EHS and explore the many career paths available to our students.

SMALL BOXES. BIG IMPACT! ❤️

Our Elkin Middle School Junior Beta Club is taking on an amazing service project—and we need YOUR help! Our goal is to raise $500 for The Ark, our local homeless shelter, as part of Cardboard City.

On November 21 from 5:00–6:30 PM, our Beta students will build a “house” out of a cardboard box and stay in their cardboard homes until they reach their $500 fundraising goal!

Good afternoon, EMS students and families! Please take some time to review the Events of the Week for October 5-9, 2026. The end of the first quarter is this Friday, October 9th, which is an early dismissal day. Students will be dismissed at 12:00pm. Also, Monday, October 12th and Tuesday, October 13th are teacher workdays. There will be no school for students on these dates. Please reach out to the office or to your child's teacher with any questions.

Field Trip Fun at The Farm!

Mrs. Garris’ class had a wonderful time yesterday visiting The Farm in Dobson! It was a beautiful day to get outside, explore, learn, and make some great memories together. From smiles and laughter to hands-on experiences, it looks like everyone had a farm-tastic time! A big thank you to The Farm for welcoming our students and helping make their field trip such a fun and memorable experience! We love seeing our students learning beyond the classroom! 💙🦌💛
