Our Bulldogs have been working hard earning their 🐶💰 Bulldog Bucks by being safe, respectful, and responsible—and it paid off in the best way… a DANCE PARTY RECESS! 💃🕺
Students showed off their moves and celebrated their awesome effort. To make it even sweeter, Mr. Broshar surprised everyone with treats! 🍓🎶
Way to go, Bulldogs! Keep filling that basket and showing what it means to be PAW-some every day! 🐾💙

Kindergarten has been so busy! 🎉📚 During Skills, students worked together on a Large Card Chaining activity, listening carefully 👂 to each word Mrs. Fangman read so they knew just when it was their turn to jump in and build a new word with their sound card🔤
They also celebrated “F” in their ABC Countdown with flashlight reading! 🔦✨ What a bright idea for practicing those reading skills! 😄

Mrs. Zabawa’s 5th graders brought language to life while learning about the Renaissance! 📖🎨 They explored idioms in their reading and used context clues to uncover their meanings. Talk about reading between the lines! 🕵️‍♂️💡

Our 2nd graders had an absolute blast at the Children’s Museum! 🚌✨ As part of our aviation unit, they participated in a hands-on learning lab that really took their knowledge of flying machines to new heights! ✈️📚
After learning, it was time to play! From the ball area to the grocery store and even the doctor’s office, students explored, imagined, and had so much fun together. 🛒⚽🩺 Thank you Iron Bluff Elementary PTO for providing the funds so our learning could really ✨take off✨

3rd graders in Mrs. Wilson’s class have been busy becoming shape experts! 🔷📐 They worked on a quadrilateral sort, using their knowledge of attributes to classify each shape.
Hands-on learning + great teamwork = success! 🙌 We love seeing their math minds in action! 💡

Our 1st graders in Miss Schott’s class were hard at work during Skills time today! 📚✨ They dove into a close read 🔍 and then showed off their thinking by writing about their text📝💡
