Mount Michael is proud to announce Dr. Alan Wasmoen as the recipient of the 2026 Alumni Appreciation Award.
For 11 years, Dr. Wasmoen inspired Mount Michael students in the classroom, teaching Freshman and Senior Biology, including AP and college-credit courses. He also taught Health and College Algebra during his time at Mount Michael. His impact extended far beyond academics, earning the respect and gratitude of countless alumni.
Although his time in the classroom has passed, Dr. Wasmoen remains connected to many alumni and continues to be an enthusiastic supporter of Mount Michael.
From 1997 to 2000, he also served as a soccer coach, mentoring student-athletes and helping shape the culture of the program.
Chosen by our alumni, the Alumni Appreciation Award recognizes individuals whose dedication and service have made a lasting difference in the lives of Mount Michael students. Dr. Wasmoen is a truly deserving recipient.
Please join us in congratulating Dr. Wasmoen. He will be honored at the Mount Michael Hall of Fame Banquet on November 19, 2026.

Thanks to the incredible support of our sponsors, volunteers, Alumni Association, and Advancement team, the outing raised more than $96,000.

Congratulations to the 2005 State Champion Soccer Team on their induction into the Mount Michael Athletic Hall of Fame!
The Knights entered the state tournament with an undefeated regular season and just one district loss on their record. They capped off a remarkable season by capturing the Class B State Championship, cementing their place in both Mount Michael and NSAA history.
This November, we are proud to recognize and celebrate the players, coaches, and legacy of one of the greatest teams in Mount Michael athletic history.
Congratulations, Knights!

This weekend, Mount Michael welcomed alumni back to campus for Reunion Weekend, celebrating classes ending in 1 and 6.
Representing graduation years from 1961 through 2021, alumni gathered for Mass, shared a meal, and reconnected with classmates, friends, and former teachers. Each class shared stories and memories from their time at The Mount, bringing decades of Mount Michael history to life.
The day also included tours of campus, walks through the halls, and visits to former dorm rooms, reminding everyone that while much has changed over the years, Mount Michael will always be home.
Thank you to all who joined us. Once a Knight, always a Knight!
