WIRED Baseball Baseball & Softball Training Facility in Elkhorn, NE

One month of fall throwing in the books. Enrollment is still rolling, and honestly: the early times are the tight ones, later evenings are easier, Sunday has room. The unlimited package is doing exactly what we built it for — no fixed weekly slot, so football and basketball athletes train around their seasons instead of vanishing until March. If that’s your son, this is the version of a throwing program that actually fits his fall. Book your Discovery Call — wiredbaseball.com/discovery-call (link in bio).

Every February we get calls from families who want velocity before tryouts. The problem: adding real velocity safely takes months because arm strength has to come first, and you can’t compress that — you can only rush it, which is how kids get hurt in March. The athletes who started three weeks ago aren’t chasing mph yet; they’re building the thing that makes mph safe. By January they’re gaining velocity. The February families will be starting. That gap isn’t talent, it’s a calendar. Rolling enrollment — wiredbaseball.com/discovery-call

Four miles an hour sounds small. Here’s what it moves: the ball arrives sooner, so the hitter gets less time to decide. It changes which list he’s on — there are velocity bands where a college coach keeps watching and bands where he stops, and 4 mph is often the gap between two of them. And it changes his whole arsenal, because a breaking ball off an 84 fastball isn’t the same pitch as one off 80. That’s why the guarantee is set at 4: it’s the smallest change that reliably changes his season. Rolling enrollment — wiredbaseball.com/discovery-call.
