MusicProfessor MusicProfessor is the leading provider of supplemental video resources for teaching wind and percussi Thus, we have developed MusicProfessor to fill this niche.

At MusicProfessor, we realize the importance of engaging and encouraging students as they begin to play instruments. We also understand that current financial resources are scarce for large school districts and parents alike and that teaching twenty clarinetists or an entire low brass section without any help can be daunting. In the face of such challenges we know it is difficult to provide the in

dividual attention of private music lessons or individual tutoring to young musicians. MusicProfessor aims to provide high-quality, content-rich, pre-recorded online video lessons for band students. Our goals are:

•To supplement private instruction.

•To provide an affordable alternative to private instruction.

•To give teachers the tools to monitor a student's practice progress via live, online analytics.

•To 'flip' the classroom; allowing band directors the opportunity to work with individual students while a class as a whole follows along with online instruction.

•To teach each instrument in an idiomatic, easy-to-follow fashion, and to provide an alternative to the 50-year-old Method Book curriculum that emphasizes 'one size fits all.'
