Our students are thinking, creating, collaborating, asking questions, and challenging themselves to grow. Whether working with a partner, solving a problem, practicing a new skill, or explaining their thinking, our students are showing that great things happen when we are engaged in learning!

🍝🌭 Learning About Friendship in 2nd Grade!

Our second graders read Spaghetti in a Hot Dog Bun and learned an important lesson about kindness, courage, and being a good friend—even when others may not be kind to us. ❤️

Of course, we had to make the story memorable with a special spaghetti-on-a-hot-dog-bun treat! 🌭🍝

What an incredible full-circle moment! ❤️🚒

Division Chief Gour from the Elkhart Fire Department personally visited Concord Ox Bow to invite Ms. Krizmanich to a special dinner honoring those who helped save a life through CPR.

Ms. Krizmanich taught her students this lifesaving skill—and last year, one of those students put that knowledge into action when it mattered most.

We are incredibly proud of Ms. Krizmanich and her student. This is a powerful reminder that the lessons taught in our classrooms can make a life-changing difference in our community! 💚🤍
