🏐 Introducing Elkhart Volleyball Future Lions League! 🏐

For years, Elkhart Volleyball has been committed to teaching the fundamentals of the game and growing the sport in our community. While our elementary schools are no longer offering elementary athletics, we believe our youngest athletes still deserve the opportunity to learn, compete, and fall in love with volleyball.

That's why our girls and boys high school volleyball programs are stepping up to continue that tradition.

Elkhart Volleyball Future Lions League is a skills and competition league designed for 4th and 5th grade boys and girls. There will be a fall and spring session offered for which athletes may sign up for one or both sessions. On league dates, players will work on fundamental volleyball skills with our high school athletes and coaches and then put those skills into action through fun competitions and gameplay.

🏐 Fall Session: 4 Wednesday nights (September 2nd, 9th, 16th and 23rd) TIME: 6:15pm-7:45pm

🏐 Spring Session: 4 Wednesday nights (March 17th, 24th, 31st, and April 7th) TIME: TBA

💲 Pricing
• One session: $60
• Both Fall & Spring sessions: $100

What a weekend at Purdue Team Camp! 💙💛

We took 30 athletes to compete, learn, and grow together. It was a challenging weekend filled with great competition, hard work, and even better team bonding while exploring Purdue’s campus.

Every year, this camp teaches us so much about who we are as a program, and this weekend was no exception. We saw players push themselves, support one another, and continue building the culture we want for Elkhart Volleyball.

We may have lost a few buses… and even a shoe along the way 😂… but we found plenty of memories, growth, and excitement for the season ahead!

Tryouts are almost here, and we can’t wait to officially kick off the 2026 season.

It doesn’t matter how many days pass since Shaniyah’s recognitions, we still can’t help but take the time to look back and reflect on all of her accomplishments and the incredible legacy she has built during her time in multiple sports at Elkhart.

Shaniyah has continued to stand out as one of the most dedicated and driven student-athletes in our program. If you didn’t know, this year she was selected as Elkhart’s nominee for the Kiwanis Female Athlete of the Year and was also named the 2026 Catherine Wolf Recipient… One of the highest honors for student-athletes in our area.

Each recognition is a reflection of years of hard work, discipline, and consistency, both in competition and in her daily commitment to excellence. Shaniyah has set a standard that future athletes will continue to look up to for years to come.

She will continue her basketball career at Kellogg Community College, where we know she will continue to grow, compete, and accomplish even greater things. We could be more proud of you Shaniyah, keep leading and putting your best foot forward in all that you do!

Once a Lion, ALWAYS a Lion!

Last week, we wrapped up another amazing Elkhart Volleyball Youth Camp, and what a great three days it was!

Despite having to move our final day from Wednesday to Thursday because of the weather, we still had an incredible turnout and a gym full of athletes eager to learn and compete. We loved seeing so many young players step outside their comfort zones, work hard, make new friends, and grow their volleyball skills.

The best part of camp is watching the confidence build from Day 1 to Day 3. Every athlete improved, challenged themselves, and showed what it means to be a future Lion.

Thank you to all of the campers and families who spent part of their summer with us. We are excited to continue watching these young athletes grow and can’t wait to see what is in store for our future Lions!

Wednesday night our gym was filled with both new and familiar faces as we officially welcomed our incoming freshmen to their very own practice with our senior🥹 girls.

We love dedicating time specifically to our freshmen because it gives them the opportunity to become familiar with the skills, drills, and expectations they’ll need as they begin training with our upperclassmen throughout the summer. It’s also a great chance to start building relationships and confidence before the season officially begins.

Every year, getting to work with a new freshman class reminds us why we do it. Their energy, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn make us even more excited for what’s ahead. We can’t wait to watch this group grow into the next generation of Lions! 🦁

We promise this isn’t copy and paste…… Our athletes just keep giving us more awards to celebrate 😂🏆

The IBVCA just released their All-Region Teams and Elkhart is representing WELL.

Seniors Trevor Hilliard and Kaiden Henderson are receiving 1st Team honors, along with an invitation down to Indianapolis for the IBVCA All-Star Game. Their leadership, consistency, and impact on this program have been unmatched, and we couldn’t be more proud to see them recognized again.

Sophomore setter Kayden Jones is earning 2nd Team honors, and if you look back at his season and stats, they speak for themselves. There was no offense without him this season. His growth so far has been incredible, and we know this is only the beginning for him.

Our final Lion receiving 2nd Team honors is Freshman, Emytt Koons. We cannot say enough about the way he stepped into a HUGE role at middle this season. The energy, effort, and work he brought every single day helped elevate this team all year long.

Congratulations Lions! Way to set the tone for the future of our program! 🦁
