So excited that “Good Things” is back for the year! My favorite part of our board meetings is getting to hear from all our kids about the exciting things that they are learning. Last night our South Side Kindergarteners taught a few of us board members some of the ways their teachers are working with them to strengthen their phonetics to help bridge between their reading and literacy skills. Thanks for the lesson Mrs. Williams, Mrs. Molnar and all our new friends!

The Jr. High is gearing up for their big "Make a Wish" drive in March. Consider helping these kids reach their goal and order a t-shirt!

Today I was able to do the stuff I enjoy the most and at my most favorite time of the year! Christmas concert, reading to students and joining in on an all school sing along. Merry Christmas!

Thank you just doesn’t seem to be a good enough word but it is the best I have. Thank you friends for all your support. For the signs in yard, the shares of posts, the connecting me with the people you know, the texts and calls yesterday to make sure I was not losing my mind waiting……Thank you. I am beyond blessed and am so excited to get to work! ❤️
