🎉 NEW this year: Help us stock the Staff Lounge for the first week of school!

Let’s help our hardworking teachers and staff kick off the 2026–27 school year with plenty of snacks and beverages to fuel their busy days! ❤️

We’ll be collecting donations at our PTA table during Back-to-School Night on Wednesday, August 26, from 4–6 p.m. and again on the first day of school. Everything collected will be available in the staff lounge for teachers and staff to grab throughout the day.

🛒 Finishing up your back-to-school shopping this weekend? Feel free to pick up a few snacks or drinks for the lounge while you’re out!

Want to know what our staff loves? We’ll share a list of their favorite snacks and beverages early next week — but we wanted to get the word out now for anyone doing their shopping this weekend!

📍 Be sure to stop by the PTA table in the cafeteria at Back-to-School Night to drop off donations, say hello, and learn more about how you can get involved this year. We also have a fun, free “pluck a duck” game planned for kids.

Sunshine, swimming, good food and even better company! ☀️🌊🍔

Our PTA crew got together for a summer potluck at the lake, generously hosted by one of our PTA families. Good food, lots of laughs and plenty of summer fun! 💙

We love that PTA gives us opportunities to connect, get to know one another and build a stronger school community.

ElkhartCares is looking for someone who loves bringing people together!

We’re seeking a Community Events Coordinator to help organize several family-friendly events throughout the year, including Elktoberfest, our Winter Village Tree Lighting celebration, and children’s programs at the library.

If you enjoy organizing, decorating, coordinating volunteers, and creating joyful experiences for children and families, we’d love to hear from you!

This opportunity may be filled by either an enthusiastic volunteer or a part-time paid coordinator. Our priority is finding the right person who is organized, dependable, community-minded, and excited to help bring these special events to life.
