Our Grange clean-up had a small but dedicated crew who focused their efforts on the outside. I sincerely thank them for their hard work; keeping the Grange running smoothly truly takes a team.

Country Pride 4-H had its meeting. It is very exciting to see all the things they want to accomplish. So far, the projects are small animals (poultry/rabbits/dogs), sheep, goats, swine, photography, canning, baking, engineering, and gardening. I haven't caught up with the horse leader to hear about this year's plans.
Archery was asked about. We need a leader to attend training.
Next meeting is the elections meeting on November 8th at 5pm
The 4-H Leader Council will meet at the Inland Grange this Wednesday at 6:30 pm.

The Grange meeting on October 14 will begin at 7 pm.

Those words from our Grange Ritual are just as meaningful today as when they were first spoken.

Today we celebrate everyone whose hard work keeps our communities moving forward: farmers, ranchers, teachers, healthcare workers, first responders, truck drivers, tradespeople, small business owners, parents, caregivers, volunteers, and so many others. Every job, when done cheerfully and with integrity, makes a difference.

The National Grange was founded on the belief that work has dignity, communities are strongest when we support one another, and every person deserves to have their contributions valued.

Here's to the hands that build, grow, teach, heal, create, and serve. Happy Labor Day from the National Grange!
