Job opening for a part-time personal assistant. The job duties include a wide range of responsibilities associated with online teaching for an Accredited University. There is some flexibility, but the primary hours are 3-4 days a week for 3-4 hours at a time primarily between 10 and 4pm.

This is a good position if you want to learn about what it's like to teach from home for a major online University, help people with disabilities and other special needs, and you enjoy social sciences like psychology, public policy, education, health care and more... You do not need special skills or knowledge in these areas, but it will help to have an interest.

It is a great opportunity for part time workers that are comfortable navigating computers. Qualifications for position: ability to learn new computer programs and apps. Willingness to figure out and set up the computer, IPAD, laptop and other electronics. Knowledge of excel, Ms word, MS office, email, Adobe, additional programs is helpful. The ability to type, read aloud, and track information. Comfort solving technological problems is plus. A willingness and aptitude for managing paperwork, making appointments, insurance, tracking receipts, legal documents, running errands.

Be reliable, and able to pay careful attention to detail. Ability to follow instructions and a good phone manner will be useful in this position.

Other duties include helping around the house with things like checking on the water softener, checking on appliances, errands, gardening, cleaning, repairs. Ability to lift a hay bale, water softener salt, dog food bags is great. If you can drive a tractor that's a plus!

The job involves working with a highly capable disabled college faculty leader. Some higher education is recommended, but high school graduates with computer aptitude are welcome to apply.

The work environment is pleasant and in a semi-rural setting.
Animals, dogs. a cat, bunnies and horses are onsite.

There will be a background check.
A minimum of 3 references is required.
