Lighthouse Learning Academy At Lighthouse Learning Academy we believe that children at a young age thrive with education and they need a prepared environment to expand their knowledge.

We offer care for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years old. Lighthouse Learning Academy's goal is to work closely with both you and your child to provide the best care possible. Our center is licensed by the Minnesota Department of Human Services and complies with their standards for health and safety. All children are welcome, regardless of race, color, creed, or source of payment. LLA has a child care program plan for each age group, and it is available upon request from the director. The childcare program plan strives to meet your child's physical, emotional, and social needs.

Pumpkin guts and Volcanoes! What a fun science and sensory day!
Our Alligators got to help clean out the pumpkin for Ms. Trish to carve into a jackolantern!! During each of their turns they were talking about what it feels like, smells like, and if they wanted to they got the option to try a pumpkin seed! While this was going on in one classroom, another classroom across the center was making volcanoes!

NOW ENROLLING!

Looking for a childcare center where your child can learn, grow, explore, and thrive?

We are enrolling at Lighthouse Learning Academy. We proudly offer a unique blend of Montessori-inspired learning and traditional teaching approaches, giving children the best of both worlds.

-Hands-on, child-led learning
-Age-appropriate activities and learning experiences
-Opportunities to build independence and confidence
-Caring, supportive teachers
-A balance of structure, routine, and exploration
-A fun and nurturing environment where children feel at home

We believe every child learns differently, and our goal is to provide an environment where they can learn at their own pace while developing the skills they need for success.

“The greatest gifts we can give our children are the roots of responsibility and the wings of independence.”
Montessori reminds us that children thrive when we trust them, guide them, and give them space to discover what they can do!

The children at Lighthouse look forward to this part of the day and it is so much fun getting to see them so excited about getting better and completing their montessori work each day!
