Our Agricultural Division 🌱 has a youth internship for those interested in a hands-on learning experience at Gitigaaning/ "The Place of the Gardens”🌱

This summer internship program is for youth (ages: 14-17 yrs old) to build agriculture and leadership skills as well as make important connections for the future! During the internship, youth will learn about tribal food sovereignty, food safety, daily farm work (including: weeding, pruning, watering, harvesting, seed saving), and food nutrition.

🌱We are able to accept (6) interns to learn and grow with us this summer:🌱
· Paid Stipend is ($17/hour)💰, one day a week, on Tuesdays from (8:30am-4:30pm)
· Internship program begins: June 23rd & ends on August 18th 🗓️
· Lunch is included 🥪
· Please provide your own transportation 🚗

This Saturday! The Office of Chief Wind invites you to join us at the Sugar Bush Point at MLB Powwow Grounds on Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Join us at this community gathering as we practice our treaty rights and share knowledge rooted in respect for the land and our ancestors. All are welcome, this is a space to learn, share, and stand together in community.
