The EPJ Senior Economics class took a trip to First Dakota after finishing their unit of study on banking. They were able to take the time to get a better understanding of the banking processes in action. Thank you for the great learning experience First Dakota!

The Holly Jolly Linemen Elk Point - Jefferson Student Council Fundraiser is going to be back at the Sept 30th football game against Miller - Highmore/Harrold. For this game we are going to do things a little differently. Instead of raising funds for the Elk Point Food Pantry, we plan to donate our funds for the week to Kayden Hammond and his family. He is a 16 yr old from the Faulkton/Miller area who is currently battling leukemia. ALL fans are asked to wear orange tonight at the football game to show your support of Kayden. Please stop by our Holly Jolly Linemen booth under the bleachers where you can place your donation and vote for your favorite linemen. As of this morning, Hunter Sharkey, Jace Shatswell, AP Kellen, Caleb Niles and Ty Trometer are the top 5 linemen, with the other linemen close behind. The top 5 linemen will play Santa at the elementary Christmas parties. Let’s show our great HUSKIES and RUSTLERS spirit as we support our student.
**Any check donations should be made payable to "EPJ Schools". One final check will be sent to the family from the Elk Point-Jefferson School.

The Holly Jolly Linemen will be back at our Husky Homecoming Football Game this Friday night. The HS Student Council is raising funds to support the Ell Point Food Pantry. So far we have raised over $587, with AP Kellen, Hunter Sharkey, Jace Shatswell, Patrick Kastning and Caleb Niles in the lead. Come vote for your favorite Husky lineman to play Santa at the elementary Christmas parties!!

This week Grayson, Bentlee, Julie, and Mrs. Norris traveled to Atlanta, GA, to compete at the International Science Fair. With over 1750 projects, from 63 different countries, this is the largest high achool science competition in the world. Students were competing for over 8 million dollars in prizes and scholarships. In addition to the competition, our students were able to tour the World of Coca Cola Museum, the Georgia Aquarium, the Martin Luther King Jr National Historic Park, Centennial Olympic Park and the CNN Tower. Even though our students came back empty handed, it was a wonderful experience and we look forward to competing next year in Dallas, TX.
