The core purpose of District 59 is to prepare students to be successful for life.

Our early learning center, 11 elementary schools, and 3 junior high schools serve nearly 75,000 residents and cover 24 square miles. Portions of Arlington Heights, Des Plaines, Elk Grove Village, and Mount Prospect attend CCSD59.

Behind the name of Rupley Elementary is a remarkable piece of local history. We recently reconnected with two generations of Ira Rupley’s family to learn more about Ira, his impact on the local community, and how his descendants are continuing that connection to the school today. Our 8th graders enjoyed an amazing trip to Washington, D.C., where they explored iconic landmarks, learned about our nation's history, and shared experiences they'll remember for years to come.

World Cup Field Day was a huge WIN at Rupley Elementary! Students competed, celebrated, and had a blast proudly representing countries participating in this summer's World Cup. Great memories were made and incredible school spirit was on display!
