🥋 Congratulations to our newest Black Belts 🥋

Tonight we had the honor of presenting certificates and black belts to our students who passed their first Dan exam. After years, months, days, and hours of hard work and dedication, our black belt candidates successfully completed their testing and earned their rank.

Earning a black belt is about more than physical skill. It represents integrity and exemplary character both inside and outside the dojo. These students have demonstrated what it means to be true martial artists through their commitment, attitude, and leadership.

While not everyone could be present for the photo, we are incredibly proud to celebrate this milestone. Please join us in congratulating our newest black belts! 👏🥋🎉

We had a great time this weekend at the AAU Regional 6 Tournament! 🥋🔥 We had so much fun competing, learning, and meeting new people.

Huge shoutout to Stefan & James for stepping up and competing in kata, individual kumite, and ultimate rotational kumite! 💪😃
Stefan placed in all three divisions—an amazing accomplishment! 🥈🥉🥉
James placed in both individual kumite and ultimate rotational kumite—awesome work! 🥇🥉

Participants from all over showed courage, discipline, and heart— and that’s what truly matters. Win or learn, each experience makes us stronger.
So proud of these two for representing with respect and determination. The journey continues, and we’re just getting started! 👊✨

As some of our students prepare for both the AAU Tournament and Shodan Testing Day, we’ve been talking a lot about what it truly means to be a martial artist, and the importance of 🤗 being humble.

Humility is more than just not being boastful. It’s showing up ready to learn, even when you’ve already learned it before. It’s understanding that sometimes we all need reminders of what we already know.

It’s accepting correction, giving credit to others, and recognizing that growth never really stops 🌱
