Multiskilled crews spend far less of the active workday waiting or otherwise idle.
Simplar Foundation’s recent study, Multiskilling in the U.S. Construction Industry, found that multiskilling, the training model used by merit shop contractors that upskills craft professionals to obtain credentials that allow them to perform multiple tasks or trades, reduces crew idle and waiting time by about 68%.

We're excited to bring this highly anticipated, hands-on training to ABC Illinois members. In this interactive workshop, you'll learn how AI is already being used for estimating, RFIs, submittals, safety, and document management, then put it to the test with real construction exercises.

This is not a lecture. You'll be working with AI tools throughout the session, gaining practical experience you can use right away.

Led by Dr. Manideep Tummalapudi, a construction management professor and AI educator with more than 10 years of industry and academic experience, this workshop is designed for construction professionals at any level. No tech background required.

You'll leave with new skills, fresh ideas, and the confidence to start using AI in your day-to-day work.
