Day one of the ABC Legislative Conference has officially kicked off!

Today, ABC members from across the country gathered to discuss the issues impacting the merit shop construction industry, celebrate leadership, and explore new opportunities to strengthen the construction workforce. Highlights included the swearing-in of the ABC Illinois 2026 Board of Directors and an exciting announcement from Mike Rowe, host of Dirty Jobs and founder of the mikeroweWORKS Foundation, and Dina Powell McCormick, Meta's Vice Chair and President of Global Client Services, regarding ABC's partnership with Meta on the America's Workforce Academy initiative. We're looking forward to another full day tomorrow as ABC members head to Capitol Hill to meet with lawmakers and advocate for policies that support the construction industry, workforce development, and free enterprise.
