Elizabethtown College's newest varsity program is taking shape! 🏈💙

Head Coach Michael Osayi spoke with WPMT FOX43 about building ’s women’s flag football program with a focus on competition, community, and academic success and preparing the Blue Jays for their inaugural season in spring 2028.

"We want student athletes who are going to be competitive, student athletes who want to work hard, student athletes who want to help their community grow, and we're looking at the student-athlete," Osayi said. 💙🕯️ | Convocation Through the Years

From 2000 to 2017 to 2023, one thing has remained the same: the glow of candlelight and the sense of community that marks the beginning of every academic year at Elizabethtown College.

For generations of Blue Jays, Convocation has been more than a ceremony—it's a tradition that welcomes new students into the Etown family while reminding us of the values that connect us across classes and decades.

As we prepare to gather once again for this cherished tradition, we're taking a moment to look back and celebrate the memories that have lit the way.

✨ Were you at Convocation? Tell us what year you attended and share your favorite memory in the comments!
