📦🔵 Throwback Thursday: Move-In Day Memories! 🔵📦
As we look ahead to welcoming the newest members of the Blue Jay family at the end of the summer, we're taking a trip back to Move-In Day 2000!
For generations of Elizabethtown College students, Move-In Day has marked the beginning of lifelong friendships, unforgettable experiences, and countless memories. While a lot has changed over the years—from what students packed to how they stayed connected—the excitement, anticipation, and sense of belonging have remained the same.
This photo captures a special moment as the Class of 2004 began their Elizabethtown College journey 25 years ago. Can you spot yourself, a friend, or a familiar face?
💙 What do you remember most about your Move-In Day?

It was a joy to welcome our Return to the Nest Luncheon attendees back to campus this week!
This special gathering celebrates alumni who graduated 51 or more years ago, and it was wonderful to reconnect, share memories, and honor the lasting impact our alumni continue to have on the Elizabethtown College community. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the afternoon so meaningful.
We were also privileged to present the Educate for Service: Service to Humanity Award posthumously to the family of William Miller Barbour. This award recognizes a lifetime of service and commitment to improving the lives of others, and it was an honor to celebrate Mr. Barbour's legacy alongside his family.
Thank you to all who returned to the Nest. Your stories, friendships, and dedication continue to inspire generations of Blue Jays.

From celebrating 50 years of memories with the Class of 1976 to officially welcoming the Class of 2026 into the alumni family, this weekend was a beautiful reminder of what it means to be part of the Etown community. 🎓💙
We loved spending the afternoon honoring our Golden Alumni as they gathered to reconnect, reminisce, and celebrate their lasting bond with Elizabethtown College. And to our newest graduates — welcome to the alumni family! We can’t wait to see where your journeys take you and how you’ll continue to make an impact in the world.
The rain may have made an appearance, but it couldn’t stop the smiles from shining all day long. ☔✨
