EHS Class of 1988 This page is for the E'town High School class of 1988 to reconnect and help with the planning of our 25th reunion. How could we not have a 25th reunion? Thanks!

We were close to not having a 25th Class Reunion this year! Several of us decided to get together and make it happen! We might be using walkers by the 30th so we want to be active during our 25th. We decided a couple things instantly...in unison...make easy, make it cheap, and make it comfortable for all of us to be together. While we all like to get all fancy and dressed up for these types of occ

asions, we decided to make it simple because, well, we are older now, and this should be about sharing our memories of each other and making new ones. The neat thing about reunions, in my opinion, is that we form new friendships as adults that we may have not had with one another in high school. It is imperative to get the word out to one another about the Class of 1988 Reunion Bonanza! Thanks to Chris and Leah (Crabtree) Gardner, Ellen Upton, Robin Jenkins, and Barbara Lee for attending these meetings at the Gardner household (3 so far!) to get this thing underway! The EHS decades reunion date has been set-Oct 17, 2026 at Highland Sod Farm. We hope to see everyone there. If you are able to reach out to classmates or help with the class of 88’s part in the planning over the next year please let Leah or Chris know.

Hey everyone!! The Class of 85 came up with an amazing idea to have a decade reunion. We had a meeting yesterday with reps from classes 1980-1990. We need one more rep from the class of 88 who is willing to help with our part. You’d have to come to E’town for the meetings, reach out to other classmates, and help organize. The class of 86 is taking the lead since it will be their 40th. Look forward to seeing more updates soon regarding the date, place and event details.
Also, please message me (Leah Crabtree-Gardner) your address, email, etc. or text them to me so that we can make sure everyone from our class knows about the reunion. In addition, if you or someone you know would like to help sponsor the events so that everyone can attend please let me know!! Thanks and as always, GO BIG E!!

For anyone in Etown for the holidays-EHS Class of 88 is having a get together tonight downtown at Social on Main. A couple of things to know before you go- the food booths are closed this week at social but there’s plenty of food options downtown within walking distance, they have a pop up holiday bar upstairs, they have non alcoholic drinks as well as beer and cocktails, there’s duck pin bowling and conversation areas all around SOM. Chris and I will be downtown about 5:30, but we may run up to Imps for pizza around 7. Hope to see you there!

Class of 88, due to having start caring for 2 elderly family members Chris and Leah are not able to help in the planning for a reunion. Several people have mentioned having something downtown, possibly at Brown Pusey House with food trucks. If anyone wants to take up this task please contact either Chris or Leah Gardner.

Thanks for those who were able to make the reunion meeting tonight!! We discussed having an event at The Brown Pusey House with food trucks open to anyone that was at EHS while we were (classes 84-92). We will get the available dates from Brown Pusey and get the ball rolling.

Actually, I’d like to help. I really would like to help plan an event at a venue in Etown. There’s so many nice ones downtown. I can look into places and booking fees. Just need to see about a good day, time and location. I was thinking of a catered lunch. Like a box lunch from heavenly Ham or catered dinner from Cracker Barrel.
I wonder if anyone would be interested.
I’m not an admin on this page. But maybe someone can get the word out if anyone is interested.

Two ways to help current EHS students-
1.) Marching band is in need of a MacBook any donations would be greatly appreciated
2.) If anyone would be available to work Oaks/Derby to help out with the cost of new uniforms

The show this coming year is amazing, We have an amazing director and staff who are invested in our kids. The program they are building is amazing! For those who don’t know, EHS stopped competing several years ago. Our first competition season was 2019 and then Covid hit in 2020 so we didn’t get to have a season. This year we made it to state semi finals and have a goal of state finals this year.
