Graduation dinner: one of our favorite traditions and a memorable sendoff for our seniors before they begin the graduation ceremony!

📢 Coming to the MCCS stage this fall…

Audiences will watch beloved literary characters step off the page and onto the stage in two charming student productions.

We begin with The Enchanted Bookshop by Todd Wallinger. When a struggling bookshop needs saving, beloved characters from classic stories come to life after hours to help.

Filled with humor, heart, and literary magic, The Enchanted Bookshop is a delightful adventure perfect for audiences of all ages and will be performed by students in grades 6–8 on November 6 and 7, 2026.

The following weekend brings Jane Austen’s beloved classic to life in Pride and Prejudice by Jon Jory.

Featuring witty banter, unforgettable characters, and graceful period dancing, this charming adaptation captures all the romance and humor audiences love
and will be performed by students in grades 9–12 on November 13 and 14, 2026.

It was an honor to dedicate the 2025-2026 yearbook to high school science teacher, Mrs. Risser.

Her students lauded her as much more than a teacher but as a mentor and encourager. They spoke of her compassion, understanding, and approachability and how her classroom is filled with both learning and laughter.

We are thrilled to celebrate and commend you!

Just before the end of the final semester of this school year, our high school art history students completed their ✨art museum ✨ project.

Student responsibilities for this event included:

✔️ issuing invitations to parents, staff, and students
✔️making food representing the various art movements studied in class
✔️throwing a celebration for the museum opening

Students did a great job of giving tours and explaining the various panting to attendees! 🖼️

✨ SENIOR SPOTLIGHT! ✨

Meet Logan Stewart! He will be entering the work force as an electrician. 🎓

During his five years at MCCS, Logan participated in soccer, basketball, baseball, theater, National Honor Society, student council, and yearbook. Logan was a class officer as well. 🎭

He was also an intern for Mr. Etter. ✏️

Some of Logan’s favorite memories at MCCS include getting appendicitis while at the Renaissance Fair with Mrs. Aument and Mrs. Richards, Mrs. Stump’s 9th grade geography class, beating Brandywine in soccer (senior year), hitting a home run against West Shore, and making the “Never Gonna Split You Up” music video with Patrick. ⚾️

His favorite Bible verse is James 1:2-3, “Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness.” ✝️
