Heartland Montessori School began in March, 2011 when a small group of teachers and parents representing various segments of the Hardin County Community saw a need for a quality educational preschool program in the Elizabethtown, KY area. The school will commit to the educational philosophy of Dr. Maria Montessori, to "follow the child" during the sesitive periods from birth through age 6 during w

hich the child absorbs information from a carefully prepared environment. The Montessori curriculum will encourage self-discipline, self-knowledge, independence, an organized approach to problem-solving as well as academic skills. The staff of Heartland Montessori School is dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, educational experience for each child entrusted to their care. Our goal is to foster a life-long love of learning in each of our students.

Happy Graduation Day to our kindergarten and preschool graduates! We are so proud of all that you have accomplished! You are world changers!❤️

I have emailed the graduation video to the parents of the graduating class! But at 12pm I will be going LIVE with the video right here on our page so everyone can watch. We have had a very hard tome with the tech part of getting it out to everyone...I’m not good with technology at all! But I think we finally figured it out! I hope you all enjoy this celebration. Mrs. Charlotte and myself would rather be in person with you all but this was a good second place.

I do want to give a HUGE shout out to Mrs. Hannah! Without her, there is no way this video would have looked this good at all. She worked tirelessly to help make my vision come true for this. I want to thank the parents for sending in the photos of your kids. They made us cry, laugh, and think about the fun memories of this year. I want to thank my brother Crosse, who without him, we wouldn’t have been able to email it to the parents. And I want to thank Mrs. Charlotte for letting me run with this idea. It was emotional but well worth it to celebrate these children! But I hope we never have to do it this way again! 😂 we love you all so much! ❤️

Today is the last day of the 2019 - 2020 school year. What a year it has been! I love you my sweet, little friends!

It’s the last week of school!! We are so proud of each of our students and all they have accomplished. From learning sight words, letter sounds, how to snap, tie shoes and getting potty trained these kids have worked hard and grown lots!

Virtual graduation for the Kindergarten and Preschool graduates will be available for viewing starting on Saturday at 12:00 pm. Anyone and everyone is welcome to watch the ceremony and celebrate their great accomplishment. It will be an entirely pre recorded graduation so you can watch at any time! We wish we could all be together but hopefully this will be a good second place. We can’t wait to celebrate with all of you! ❤️
