Hi Everyone! Our class page is changing to a new one. The current class page has been hacked and hit with non-stop scammers. To protect all of our classmates, I will be deleting this page in the near future. If you haven’t done so, please go to "Elizabethtown Class of 1976" page and ask to join. If you have any trouble finding it, let Karen Germer Rittenhouse or Erlene Kreider Reinhold know. They will send you an invitation to the new class page! Thank-you!!! ☺️ Cheryl B.

W. Dwain Goretzke, 67, of Elizabethtown passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 25, 2026. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Ronald W. and Mildred J. (Wolgemuth) Goretzke. He was the loving husband to Theresa S. (Prows) Goretzke.
Dwain was an auto-mechanic, owning and operating ASAP Auto Repair for 33 years. He loved fast cars and motorcycles, collecting flashlights, and playing card games. Dwain was loyal and reliable, and a hardworking man. Above all, he loved spending time with his family, who he loved unconditionally.
In addition to his wife, Dwain is survived by two children, W. Dean Goretzke and Gwynn Ann Goretzke; and three grandchildren, Madison, Myla, and Annabell Goretzke. He is preceded in death by his brother Dennis Goretzke, along with his parents.
Family and friends are invited to a celebration of Dwain's life on Sunday, April 12, 2026 at 12:30PM at The Gathering Place, 6 Pine Street, Mount Joy, PA 17552.

Sad news of the sudden passing of Cathy Worthington Snader. May she RIP
It is with a heavy heart that I share the passing of my mother, Cathy Snater, from Murphy, NC. Her death was completely unexpected, and it has left us all in shock. For those who knew Cathy, you understand the deep love and dedication she had for her friends in both NC and PA.
We are currently working on finalizing the details for her services, and we will share more information soon.
I have set up a new private class page, Elizabethtown Class of 1976, to see if we can get rid of the scammers. I have invited those that are my Facebook Friends. If you didn’t get an invite please find the group and request to join. This is just for class members of our class.
The scammers are at it again, please ignore all posting about tshirt sales.
Just a reminder and for those who don't know, we have scammers trying to sell shirts on here. There will never be sales of any kind on our Class page. Please ignore, and report. Thank-you!

If you ever see a comment on our posts made by a non-classmate soliciting, or an unknown person, please message me (Cheryl Brubaker), so I can block them. Recently we have been getting quite a few scammers and hackers. There also have been people from classes out of the area that have a similar heading thinking it's their class. I kindly let them know, then delete. Let's keep our class page safe from scammers! Thank-you!
