Dear Former Students of Professor Telleen,
As we come to terms with the loss of Professor Telleen, we’ve been reflecting on the many lives he touched throughout his years of teaching and mentoring.
For those who had the privilege of being his students, we would love to hear your stories.
Perhaps you remember something he said that stayed with you, a funny moment in or outside the classroom, a conversation that changed your perspective, or a time when he encouraged you to take a chance on yourself. Maybe he helped guide you toward a career, challenged you to pursue something you never thought possible, or simply believed in you at a moment when you needed someone to.
We are gathering these memories to honor Professor Telleen and to help create a lasting collection of the impact he had on his students—not only as a professor, but as a mentor, encourager, and human being.
