In-Home Childcare – Johnson City, TN

Enchanted Garden has reopened in Johnson City, TN, and I am excited to begin providing in-home childcare once again! After settling into our new home, I’m ready to welcome children into a nurturing, creative, and safe environment.

I have over 13 years of experience caring for children in my home. My background in elementary education and the arts allows me to create enriching activities that foster curiosity, creativity, and learning. I am familiar with both Montessori and Waldorf educational philosophies and incorporate elements of these approaches into our daily routines.

Our days include baking healthy snacks, engaging in arts and crafts (clay, fiber arts, watercolor, and imaginative play), and participating in seasonal activities. I also prioritize outdoor play, whether in our backyard or at nearby parks, to support physical activity and exploration.

I strive to make children feel like a part of our family while building strong, trusting relationships with the families I care for. Excellent references are available upon request. I live in a quiet Johnson City neighborhood, conveniently located near Science Hill

We will keep this page open in case you need babysitting from our staff that can babysit and to stay in touch. We may have activities in the future for fun and so forth. You know us... we never stop :) Message us if you need anything. We thank you again.

We are sad to say that today was our last day that Enchanted Garden Learning will be open. Our staff can work out babysitting if you need or have already asked. It has been amazing teaching your children and watching them grow. The business did very well but in light of helping my son Matthew fight cancer and not being able to meet staff needs, we have had to close down. Though it is not the right time for us right now, this was a very difficult decision as we truly enjoy serving this community- all of you. It has been an absolute pleasure. Thank you for trusting us with your most prized possessions- your sweet little ones. Thank you everyone for your support of our endeavors the past few years to see our dream come true and offer this community something amazing. We hope this is not goodbye but see you later.
I would also like to take the time to thank all of our staff both current and past and people that have helped us get licensed and make our dream a reality. The staff we have had work for us is truly the best. We are very picky whom we hire and appreciate all their love and dedication they have shown all the children and families we serve.

A special thanks to all the family for their help and donations for our annual Easter Egg Hunt. It turned out to be a beautiful day for it and a lot of fun for the kids. Thank you!

This Friday, we will be having our annual Easter egg hunt at 11:30am. Parents are more than welcome to come for that time, hunt for eggs with their kids and take pictures. Even if Friday is not the day your children come, we would love to see you there for the hunt. We are hoping for a lovely day and will most likely do the hunt at the baseball field behind the center. Pick up will be at the hunts location that day. If you'd like to donate egg/candy or help fill some of our eggs or hid egg let us know. We would welcome any help you'd like to give. Thank you!!

EASD is on a two hour delay so we are as well. Preschool is cancelled and daycare starts at 10:00

Enchanted Garden Learning Center will be open at 10 am on the 16th. If you need care before this time please contact Jennifer at 801-404-1589 and we would be more an happy to make arrangements. We just want to see that everybody arrives safe :) Be careful out there!
