Reminder for Parents:

Good morning Parents! Next week will begin the start of another preschool year and beginning of the 2023-2024 school year. The new rate sheet is out and will go into effect for the payment due this Friday 8/25 for care the week of 8/28. I will send everyone their new rate in text as well as have paperwork ready to fill out during this week due Monday at drop-off. Reminder we will be closed Monday, September 4, 2023 for Labor Day.

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday will be water play days this week. Please remember to bring your child's swim suit, towel and water safe footwear.

6 years ago today, almost to the hour we walked into the attorney's office to go from daycare worker to daycare owner. As we sat down, one of the first questions the attorney asked was the one about us both being of mental sanity to enter into the agreements. My reply was, "I'm about to buy a daycare. How sane can I be?" After laughing, he replied "ok but you have the check, right?" Little did we know at the time how representative that short time during closing would be to the business ownership experience to come. Despite the pit in your stomach from the stress of what seems like the world being dropped on your shoulders and wondering, did I just bite off more than my family can handle, you have to keep your humor. Roll with the punches (covid), figure it out, and deal with it.

6 years ago seems like moments ago, but it also seems like forever ago. From regulatory to pandemics to remodeling to behavioral issues, we have seen a lot in a short time. But every time we are reminded of the people in our corner, friends and family who get behind us and help us through in so many ways. Yes, many times we forget to keep the humor, but looking back at least, we laugh a little.

Thank you to the many who have been part of this journey so far. Your part, big or small, means the world to us. Tonight we will raise a glass to many more to come!

Preschool and gradeschool age parents:

Please make sure your child's paperwork is turned in by the weekend. Anyone with outdated paperwork and child health reports/vaccination history needs to have them turned in ASAP.

Parents: We are attempting to find qualified, dependable staffing to help here at the daycare. If you know anyone looking for full time or part time employment in a small family like atmosphere with a love to work with children, please send them our way. We are offering a weeks free tuition for a family that results in a successful hire. The new staff member will qualify for a sign on bonus after 90 days. Help be involved in finding the teachers teaching and caring for our kids here at CRS!

Reminder for parents:
We will be closing at 4:00 on Friday, December 23, 2022 and will reopen at 8:30 am, January 2, 2023 for our holiday break. We recognize the need for care on some of these days we would normally close or offer half day care and have adjusted from our normal schedule. Please remember to find alternate care, if needed, on the days we will be closed.

Reminder for parents:
We will be closed Thanksgiving day and Black Friday, November 24 & 25 for the Thanksgiving holiday. We will be open Monday, November 28, normal business hours.

Good morning! Reminder for parents since cold and flu season is here. Please make sure you wait 24 hrs fever free without medications before returning to childcare. This is to ensure we keep all of our friends/teachers as healthy as possible.

Parents: There seems to be an accident on 743 near the daycare that has closed that area down. You are able to use Old Hershey but it is slow moving with no access to Ridge Rd and 743 intersection.

Reminder for Parents: We will be closed on Good Friday, April 15, 2022 for our spring break. We will be open normal hours Monday, April, 18.

Also, preschool, toddler and infant parents, please look near sign in sheet for a new packet with information on new required SBS/AHT training. There is information in this packet with resources to help us prevent SBS/AHT. Please sign the parent page and return for your child's file.
