Rifle Pistol Transition July 23rd
This one-day course builds on the principles and concepts of the Rifle Marksmanship Foundation Series and the Pistol Marksmanship Foundation Series. In a fight, the decision transition to your secondary weapon should be smooth and instantaneous. We will spend the whole day working on the fine points of making this a reality. By the end of the day you will know when and where to move from your primary to your secondary weapon as you accomplish your own individual shooter solution. Tomorrow evening, Jared will be sharing The Miracle of America. It is part of Lodestone’s celebration of America 250. Jared will be talking about the Founding Fathers and the miraculous formation of this country. He will then talk about principles of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. Attendance is free, just sign up through the Lodestone website.

Yesterday, some of the Lodestone family participated in the Geissele Automatics Gas Gun Series. It’s an incredible event that will test you. If you get the opportunity, you should check it out.

What can we say? Today was an awesome day. Jared Ross led his sold out Forest Engagement Master Class to a small intimate group. Everyone learned and grew from the experience. It is an absolute pleasure to be able to work with such good people.

A ballistics lab, high angle, drake drill, and more. Looking forward to it. It will be followed by Battle Rifle and Night Fighter Operator on Saturday. Of course Jared has his Geissele Automatics Super Duty, Martin custom Hawk, and Ripley & Hicks by his side. (Only Ripley is pictured)

Some people make the mistake in thinking these tools are the weapon. These are simply tools of the trade. It is the man that is the weapon. They can only be effectively used by hands that are familiar with them, and a brain that has controlled them before. The only way to be capable is through long hours of dedicated work, and that work never ends. Keep training. That is the spirit of the Light Fighter.
