West Side Elementary ECS

The Cyclone Running Club had a great turnout today for the Mark Jennings Invitational! Charlie came in second after fighting back from an early race fall! All our Cyclones ran hard and represented Elizabethton well!

Several West Side students and parents joined the EHS XC Team on their Annual Twilight Run!

Congratulations to Lyla and Ms. Heather on being this year’s first Wildcat Wednesday winners!

We haven’t had an entire Faculty and Staff Picture in years! We are ready for a great year at West Side!

The first XC meet of the season was a wet one! Congratulations to Charlie Mc Daniel for winning the boys race!

Thanks again to Jeremiah, Amber and Casey Gale for finishing up the tennis court play area in time for the students tomorrow! It looks fantastic!

This year at the Elizabethton City Schools teacher orientation, the key note speakers were former students from each of the schools. Reagan and Rylee May did a wonderful job representing West Side! Aiden Cole represented TAD and Brock Mosley represented EHS. They are also former Wildcats! These students were the best speakers we have ever had at our opening orientation!

The past two days West Side teachers have been doing professional development both system wide and at the school level. Part of the training included many team-building exercises and collaboration activities. It’s a good week to be a Wildcat!
