EHS Student Government had an extremely successful weekend while attending TASC’s state convention at Soddy Daisy High School near Chattanooga.
This year’s theme, The Mountain of Leadership is Calling, encourages councils to rely on the members of their teams to persevere when the climb gets difficult.
These students represented our SGA program and Elizabethton High School with enthusiasm, pride, and excellence.
Our council earned the following TASC State Level Awards:
EHS Council Awards, Four Star Council, which requires schools to complete 20 approved projects in the state’s REALMS model.

New Project Category, 2nd Place for The Cyclone Chillout
Improving Student Attitudes, 2nd Place for Semi-Annual Student Forum
Photo Competition Category (Clara Roe), 3rd Place
Individual Awards:
Kinslee Carder, All Star Award
Aiden Cole, All Star Award and EHS Member of the Year
Broc Mosley, All Star Award and EHS Above & Beyond Award
Clara Roe, All Star Award

Broc Mosley was also elected to serve as TASC Vice-President for the 2026-2027 school year.

Congratulations!!!!

The EHS Cadet Corps had an outstanding performance at the Dr. Seuss Drill Meet yesterday. They earned second place in unarmed drill, color guard, and the PT competition, and finished third overall. Additionally, Sebastian Baughard secured second place in the armed knockout event.

Great week of March Madness at EHS. Congratulations to the Brick Town Association for winning the championship!
