I’m excited to announce our fund raising has a generous match for the month of October. Here’s how you can join the fun and help The Friends of the Elizabethton-Carter County Animal Shelter in their endeavor to finish the work on the spay/neuter center.
* For the month of October, make a $5 donation to the Friends of the Elizabethton Animal Shelter and receive a 20% discount off your purchase at Fletcher’s Homemade. (discount does not apply to classes or quilt services, discount off regular price only)
* We have a whole new batch of handmade mini quilts from our talented friend Brenda Gass. You probably remember our last sale of her amazing quilts. I bought a couple and had them framed by local framer Mike Mathews. They are works of art I will treasure forever! Come by the shop and see them on display.
* Our friend and local sewing machine repairman, Gary Bruggeman, has generously donated a sewing machine cleaning service, valued at $80. For a $2 donation, you will be entered in a drawing to win a spa day for your sewing machine, including a good cleaning/oil, check up and new needle.
The money raised from these three promotions will be matched by a mysterious animal lover so that we have an even bigger donation! Every dollar you give becomes two dollars, so please stop by and participate however you can. My hope is that you enjoy a discount that enhances your sewing fun, scoop up a beautiful mini quilt and have a chance to win a sewing machine cleaning all while helping local folks who care for our critters.
