Unaka High School Band

CONGRATULATIONS to the Ranger Band on a fantastic end to the marching band season! At the Elizabethton Classic band competition, out of 4 bands in their class, Unaka achieved the following:

Music - 1st Place
Percussion - 1st Place
Marching - 2nd Place
Overall Band - 2nd Place

Unaka also won the Carter County Cup, which is awarded to the highest scoring Carter County band at the competition! Go Rangers!!!

Here is the tentative schedule for our last competition at Elizabethton High School on Saturday, October 25!

The Ranger Band has done it again! At the Music in the Castle Band Competition, in Class A out of 4 bands, Unaka placed:

1st Place Music
1st Place Marching
1st Place General Effect
3rd Place Percussion
1st Place Overall in Class A
Superior Rating (the highest rating possible)

Out of 17 bands, Unaka also scored 6th place overall and had the second highest marching score of the day!

The UHS Marching Band had a fantastic performance at the David Crockett Festival of Bands today!

Unaka was the smallest band present, and received the following scores in Class A out of 3 bands:

Music: 1st Place
Marching: 1st Place
General Effect: 1st Place
Percussion: 2nd Place

Unaka even had the second highest marching score of the day. Congratulations to the band for all their hard work!

Congratulations to the UHS Marching Band on an awesome performance this past Saturday! The band won first place band, first place drum major, and second place percussion at the Elizabethton Classic! I am beyond proud of this incredible group of students!

The UHS Band Boosters will be holding a parent meeting to meet all the parents of the UHS Marching Band students and to make sure everyone knows when all of the events are happening.
We would really like every parent to attend so everyone gets all the information that they need and can ask any questions they may have about the 2024-2025 school year.

Need your car washed? Come by Hunter First Baptist Church on Saturday between 9am and 1pm. The Band will be hosting a Car Wash Fundraiser. Show them some support. Hope to see you Saturday!
