Teacher Appreciation Week 2026 started off with breakfast hosted by our PTO, followed by sweet treats from Tuesday to Thursday and culminated with an empanada truck to end the week! 📚✏️🤍

Bring Your Child To Work Day 2026! 📚🚌✏️🚍

Today we proudly celebrated our new National Junior Honor Society students and recognized their hard work, dedication, and commitment to excellence. During the ceremony, we also inducted 13 additional students, welcoming them into this distinguished group. It was a meaningful evening that highlighted the values of scholarship, leadership, service, character, and citizenship. Thank you to our amazing teachers and staff and honored guests Dr. Badalis & Ms. Tavormina for attending. Congratulations to all of our students once again!

Special Services Community Resource Fair

We wrapped up an incredible Read Across America Week at Abraham Lincoln School No. 14 with our annual Character Parade, celebrating this year’s theme, “Reading Takes You Places.”

A special thank you to Union County Commissioner Stanley Neron, who served as our 2026 Read Across America Character Parade Grand Marshal. We are grateful for his continued support of our school community and for helping us celebrate the power of reading with our students.

We also extend our sincere thanks to the Elizabeth Fire Department Engine 8 Company and the Elizabeth Police Department for joining us at the parade to greet and encourage our students. Your presence made the celebration even more meaningful.

Throughout the week, our students were inspired by guest readers, community leaders, and the many ways reading opens doors to opportunity, leadership, and lifelong success.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this week so special for our students. At Lincoln School No. 14, we are proud to remind our children that reading truly takes you places.
