ATTEND se parece a “atender” pero realmente es ASISTIR.
-Students who don’t attend class on Friday will have to take the test on Monday.

ASSIST no es asistir, sino AYUDAR.
-The nurse assisted him when he was really sick.
-That teacher always assists the boy with his homework.
