The Union County Board of Commissioners proudly invites you to attend the annual Juneteenth Flag Raising, taking place on Thursday, June 18, at 12:00 PM on the front steps of the historic Union County Courthouse in Elizabeth.

With summer temperatures on the rise, we are making Cooling Centers available to help residents stay safe and comfortable during periods of extreme heat!

Residents are encouraged to visit any of the locations listed below to cool down, especially seniors, young children, and those without access to air conditioning.

Please review the locations and hours of operation and remember to stay hydrated, avoid prolonged exposure to the sun, and check on family members, friends, and neighbors who may be vulnerable to the heat.

Beginning now, spray parks are open on weekends from 12pm to 7pm through July 4th.

Starting July 5th, all spray parks will be open DAILY for residents and families to enjoy all summer long.
