☀️ It’s HOT, Colorado! 🥵

We’ve been getting a lot of calls from homeowners wondering why their air conditioner seems to be running nonstop.

Here’s something many people don’t know:

Turning your thermostat from 76° to 68° won’t cool your home any faster.

Your air conditioner cools at the same rate regardless of how low you set the thermostat. On 95° to 100°+ days, it’s completely normal for your system to run longer because it’s working hard to keep up with the outdoor heat.

A few tips during extreme temperatures:
✅ Keep blinds and curtains closed during the hottest part of the day.
✅ Avoid constantly adjusting the thermostat.
✅ Replace dirty air filters regularly.
✅ Limit using ovens or other heat-producing appliances during peak afternoon hours if possible.
