Dialogue during a meeting:
"Ms. Principal, help me understand why this child has not been referred for Child Find and your school division comprehensively evaluate?" I asked when LemonDrop obviously should have been evaluated way back yonder

She pauses and collects her thoughts and says: "Ms. Mama, you never informed us that she had been diagnosised with a disability."

"Wait, Ms. Principal, it your obligation to ensure that all children who are suspected of having a disability in your area are identified and provide a free and appropriate public education - not the mothers!" I quickly shut that one down.....
