Mrs. Arnold’s 1st grade students were focused and concentrating as they had fun learning their spelling words! Using letter tiles, they carefully worked to build each word and put their spelling skills into practice. Hands on learning makes practicing spelling fun and engaging while encouraging students to think, work independently, and build confidence in what they are learning. Great job, 1st grade!

Picture Day is next Tuesday, September 8th, and we’re excited to see all of our students dressed up and ready to SMILE!

Please remember that Jostens uses a green screen, so students should not wear green for their pictures. Photographers are not allowed to touch the students, so they cannot fix hair, straighten collars, or make other adjustments. Please have your child picture-ready when they arrive. We’re looking forward to seeing all those wonderful smiles on Picture Day!

Caught in the Act of Kindness!

Early this morning, a group of students was asked if any young gentlemen would be willing to help with a task. Without even knowing what it was, one immediately raised his hand! The job turned out to be retrieving a cradle from a crowded storage shed that will be used throughout September to collect gifts for an expectant mother. He jumped right in with a willing heart and a great attitude!

We also caught a sweet moment between two brothers. The older brother came in with his younger brother, who was having a difficult morning, and stayed close by to comfort and encourage him.

Kindness comes in many forms: sometimes it’s lending a helping hand, and sometimes it’s simply being there for someone who needs you. What a blessing to catch these young gentlemen showing kindness!

📚Summer Reading Winner!

A huge congratulations to Emma Davis, our Summer Reading winner, who read an incredible 92 books over the summer! What an amazing accomplishment and a wonderful example of a love for reading and learning. Emma, VCS is so proud of you and all the time and effort you put into reaching this achievement! RUNNING INTO FRIDAY!

Friday morning is off to a great start at VCS! Our younger students hit the gym running, enjoying a little friendly competition, plenty of laughter, and lots of energy before heading to class. Meanwhile, our high school students were making their way to homeroom, getting settled and ready for the day ahead. Then it was time for everyone to begin the school day with the most important subject of all, BIBLE! What a wonderful way to start a Friday at Victory Christian School!

A Little Glimpse Into Their Day

Sometimes it’s the everyday moments that tell the best story. A hug from a friend, snack time together, a race across the gym, a silly pose for the camera, lots of laughter, and maybe even a little rest after all that playing! What a great way to end the school day! Our 7th & 8th grade Earth Science students enjoyed putting science into action with a fun Penny Lab. It’s always exciting to see our students learning through hands on activities, making observations, and discovering that sometimes the best lessons happen when they get to experience science for themselves. 🐾 National Dog Day Fun in 5th Grade! 🐾

Our 5th graders had a little extra fun celebrating National Dog Day this morning! Students shared pictures of their favorite furry friends with the class, and there were plenty of smiles as they showed off the dogs that hold a special place in their hearts. 🐶❤️

Sometimes it’s the simple things that make a school day extra special, and today was certainly one of those days!

Our Pre-K kiddos are having a blast! Big smiles, lots of laughter, and plenty of playground fun!

The first week of another school year is officially complete at Victory Christian School, and what a wonderful week it has been! There is so much to be thankful for as we look back on these first few days. The Lord has truly been good, and we are grateful for His hand upon our school and for the many blessings He has given us as we begin another year. What a great start, and we are excited for all that the Lord has in store!

We are also so grateful for the generosity shown behind the scenes. A very generous anonymous donation was given toward our upcoming Grandparents Day, and many of you have gone above and beyond by providing extra school supplies to help meet classroom needs. Your kindness has helped our teachers and students begin the year well equipped and is truly appreciated.

Once again, a special thank you to all of our parents for your continued support, encouragement, and for entrusting Victory Christian School with your children.
