Rain or shine, ECPPS shows up to celebrate Viking Pride! 💙

We were proud to see students from across ECPPS participating in yesterday’s ECSU Homecoming Parade, including the Northeastern High School marching band, and the Pasquotank County High School marching band and cheerleaders! Our superintendent also had the honor of serving as one of the Grand Marshals!

Thank you, Elizabeth City State University, for welcoming ECPPS to be part of this special tradition. We value our partnership and loved celebrating alongside our Viking community!

💙 Viking Pride brings our community together! ECPPS is proud of our partnership with Elizabeth City State University and excited to join tomorrow’s Homecoming parade celebration.

We can’t wait to see the Viking Pride on display as students, alumni, families, and neighbors come together to celebrate ECSU. Here’s to a strong partnership and a community full of Viking spirit! Viking Pride! 💙🤍

Two longtime champions of education, leadership, faith and community, Banks and Parker represent the powerful influence of the Viking spirit throughout northeastern North Carolina and beyond. Both grand marshals embody what it means to lead, serve and inspire. 💙

We have published authors at ECPPS!!! 📚👏

Through Young Writers’ Unsolved writing competition, students ages 10 to 18 are challenged to create suspenseful stories in just 100 words or fewer, making every word count!

These students took on the challenge with short horror stories, and their work is now featured in Unsolved Case Files: Mini Moments of Mystery! What an exciting feeling to open a book and see your own words on the page!

Join us in congratulating our published authors:

We are so proud of their creativity and this exciting accomplishment! 🎉

Today, we celebrate the incredible custodians who help keep our schools clean, safe, welcoming, and ready for learning each day! 💙

Their work often happens behind the scenes, but the difference they make is seen and felt throughout our schools every single day. And their impact goes far beyond caring for our buildings; our custodians are always willing to step in, lend a hand, support our students and staff, and do whatever is needed to help our schools succeed.

On National Custodian Appreciation Day, we want to say a BIG thank you to our amazing ECPPS custodial teams for all you do for our students, staff, and schools. We appreciate you! 👏✨
