Please congratulate Mrs. Manzer and the Northeastern FFA Chapter on receiving the North Carolina Agriculture Teachers Association Ideas Unlimited Award 2025 for the Farms Hand Agricultural Literacy Program.

The program has been selected to represent North Carolina at the national level through the National Association of Agricultural Educators for 2025.

***3rd Place in North Carolina*** The Nursery Landscape CDE Competition Team placed 3rd in the state of North Carolina and 1st in the Northeast Region! This team also placed highest score in the state on the team activity with 9 points from a perfect score! Go Eagles! 🦅

Congratulations to Joel Overman and Julie Simons for placing 1st in the Agriscience Fair Project in Plant Systems Division 6!🏅🏆

Their Agriscience Fair Project determined the affect of caffeine at various rates on the germination effectiveness of bean plants. They discovered that brewed coffee grounds as a soil amendment could accelerate plant growth when added at a rate of 20% to 40%! 🫘🌱
