Tiny hands, big discovery 🦎✨
Today at forest school, one of our explorers gently found a salamander hiding beneath a log—what a magical moment!
Salamanders are incredible little amphibians. They love cool, damp places and breathe through their skin, which is why they need moist habitats to survive. Finding one is often a sign of a healthy ecosystem 🌿💧
We always remind our learners:
• Look, don’t harm
• Handle gently (or better yet, observe!)
• Return wildlife right where you found it
Moments like these spark curiosity, respect, and a lifelong love for nature 💚
