🎓 Alumni Spotlight: Alexcia Stephens 🎓

When choosing a graduate program, finding the right fit matters—and for Judson University MACC alum Alexcia Stephens, several factors made the decision clear.

"I chose Judson University’s Clinical Mental Health Counseling program because it was CACREP accredited, the program hours worked well with my work schedule, and having the Rockford location was also a big factor for me!"

Alexcia shared that the Rockford location was one of the features that stood out most during her program search. Throughout her journey, she found encouragement and support from the faculty.

"The faculty was a huge support to me throughout this journey. I had many professors who were genuinely kind human beings. They were always responsive in person and through email when I had questions about assignments. They were willing to explain more and were very understanding."

We're grateful for alumni like Alexcia and are proud to see the impact our faculty and programs have on students pursuing careers in clinical mental health counseling.

Meet the Alum: Andrea Scott ✨

Andrea was drawn to Judson because of its welcoming Christian environment and flexible learning opportunities.

“Judson offers small classes and in-person learning opportunities. When I decided to move out of state halfway through the program, I was able to finish online. I really appreciated and needed that flexibility.”

When it came to balancing school, work, and life, Andrea shared:

“I appreciated how classes were just one at a time and one class per week. That made the workload manageable. It was a lot of work, but ok for a season.”

Andrea also reflected on how the MBA program helped her grow both personally and professionally:

“I grew a lot during the program. It was good to learn about many business topics which helped me grow professionally and prepared me for the workforce. Also, diligence and hard work is good for my character development. It also helps me rely on God and trust Him more.”

“I would highly recommend people with and without a business background pursuing an MBA with Judson University!” 🎓
