What a great evening at National Night Out earlier this week! It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces from the Larsen community and connect with families, students, and neighbors outside of school.

A big thank you to the Elgin Police Department for hosting such a fantastic event and for everything they do to build strong relationships and keep our community safe. We are proud to be part of such an amazing community!

We are incredibly proud of former Larsen student Zach Schwartz, who was invited to speak at the signing ceremony as Governor JB Pritzker signed Illinois’ statewide cellphone ban into law.

As a former member of Larsen’s Broadcasting Club, it’s exciting to see Zach continuing to use his voice and confidence on such a stage. He represented our school, district, and community exceptionally well!

🚔 National Night Out 2026! 💙💚

Lancer families, come out and join the Elgin Police Department and our community for National Night Out on Tuesday, August 4!

This is a great opportunity to connect with neighbors, meet local officers, enjoy games, food, and family activities, and learn more about resources available in our community. There will even be a TV raffle! 🎉
