Valley CEW class of 1997 reunion itinerary:
August 13th evening itinerary….Dotzy’s 6pm-8:30pm dinner and drinks, menu options to include choice of brisket, pulled pork, or cheeseburger. Sides will be salad bar, fries, or chips. Additional options for appetizers will be available. American Standard band goes on at 9 pm. A suggested cash donation of $20 toward the band would be welcomed.

Golf from 8:30am-10:45am at Clermont Pleasant Valley Golf Course

Lunch possibly at Gunder?

TJs for any out of towners (like me) at 4pm

Hey Class of 1997! This is Andrew Griebenow. Passing along a few things about golf Saturday morning August 13th. The Clermont course is closed at 11am for a tournament, but we can use the course from 8:30-10:45. I’m going to be there around 8:15. Can anyone interested in playing please respond to this post? We can’t get reservations, but it will just be good to help get a gameplan together. Looking forward to seeing whoever is able to attend the reunion on the 13th!

The following is the agenda for our 15 Year Reunion on Saturday, July 21st. It definitely can change, but this will give us a good start:
1. 12:30 to 2:00 - Mississippi Boat Tour leaving from McGregor on Maiden Voyage Boat Tours. We have a special tour just for our group. The boat holds 29 people, so the first 29 people to sign up here on facebook (including spouses) will make it on the boat. If we have a full boat, we receive a special deal and it will only be around $5 per person (normally $18 per person). People are free to bring food and drinks (alcohol is allowed). No glass bottles are allowed. Kids are not allowed on the boat either. If we have way more than 29 people interested, we will look into other options for a group event. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask me.
2. 2:00 to 3:00 - Drive back to Elgin/Clermont/Wadena area
3. 3:00 to 5:00 - Everyone is free to go where they like. Some people may hang out at Brick City Bar and Grill in Clermont.
4. 5:00 to 7:00 - TJ's Pizza
5. 7:00 to ? - Bar Crawl - Clermont, Gunder and Elgin - We are looking into possibilities for transportation to take us between bars.

Any other ideas are definitely welcome, so feel free to post on this site. Looking forward to July 21!

I have been speaking with Mike Diekman and Hans Walsh and we are thinking about the July 20-22 weekend. The plan would be golf Saturday morning, lunch at a park and then possibly a party bus for late night activities around the Elgin/Clermont/Gunder area. Can everyone reply if this weekend works or doesn't work for them?

Are we any closer to finalizing a date? Our calendar is filling up fast, as I assume most others are as well, so I would love to get a date set in stone. Make it happen!
