What a joy it has been to watch these students grow academically, spiritually, and personally during their time at HCA. As they take this next step into high school, we pray they continue to walk boldly in faith, lead with kindness, and shine the light of Christ wherever they go.

Senior Spotlight: Zander Langfeld 🦁

Zander has been a part of the HCA family since preschool! During high school, he has been involved in cross country, track and field, and basketball.

After graduation, Zander plans to attend college where he hopes to continue his basketball career, and is considering a future as a personal trainer or physical therapist.

His favorite Bible verse:
“And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.” — Galatians 6:9–10

After 17 incredible years of God’s faithfulness, traditions, memories, and lives changed, we honor the final graduating class of Harvest Christian Academy. This class represents the closing of a beautiful chapter in HCA history — a legacy built through countless students, families, teachers, and supporters who made HCA so special.

To the Class of 2026: thank you for carrying the Lion legacy with strength, character, and faith. You will forever hold a unique place in the story of HCA as the final class to wear these colors, and graduate as Harvest Christian Academy seniors.

While this chapter comes to an end, the story continues. Next year, we will proudly celebrate the first graduating class of River Valley Christian School and all that God has ahead.

Senior Spotlight: Nathan Foster 🦁

Nathan has been part of the HCA family since 8th grade! Throughout high school, he has been involved in basketball and golf.

After graduation, Nathan plans to attend Culver–Stockton College, where he will continue his basketball career while pursuing his college education.

His favorite Bible verse:
“Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” — Matthew 11:28–30

Senior Spotlight: Brennan O’Donnell 🦁

Brennan joined the HCA family during his senior year and quickly became a valued part of the community! Throughout high school, he has been involved in football, baseball, and wrestling.

After graduation, Brennan plans to attend Marquette, where he will pursue a degree in education as he explores a future career as a teacher or firefighter.

His favorite Bible verse:
“For we walk by faith, not by sight.” — 2 Corinthians 5:7

Senior Spotlight: Matthew McLoughlin 🦁

Matthew has been part of the HCA family since Pre-K! Throughout high school, he has been involved in cross country, track and field, and golf.

After graduation, Matthew plans to attend college to study business.

His favorite Bible verse:
“No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.” — 1 Corinthians 10:13

Elvis is ready to serve at next year! We are so grateful for the love and care he has shown our HCA students over the past 3 years. Elvis is HCA’s beloved therapy dog, and we’re so thankful to have him as part of our school family!

Specially trained as both a therapy dog and service dog, Elvis provides comfort, encouragement, and deep-pressure therapy to help students feel calm, regulated, and supported throughout the school day.
