Dear Lords Park Families,

We are thrilled to invite your family to our school’s upcoming Kindergarten Playdate! Our school is hosting a fun-filled hour on August 19 at 5 pm at the playground near the parking lot at Lords Park Elementary School. It’s a fantastic opportunity for your future kindergartener to play, explore, and start meeting their new friends.

In the event of inclement weather, we will hold the event the following day, August 20, at the same time and location.

Meet our school staff, get your questions answered, and connect with other families. These gatherings are a perfect way to ease into the exciting world of kindergarten with smiles and confidence.

We’re excited to invite you to our annual "Meet the Teacher" event on Monday, August 24, at 2:15 PM! It’s a wonderful opportunity for parents and students to line up at their entry points and practice the first-day routines together. You’ll get to stroll into the classrooms, meet your teachers, and enjoy a tasty treat from Kona Ice. We can't wait to see everyone there!

The event will be at the park shelter! We hope to see you there. Principal Velazquez will be present to say hello to families and students at the event at the City of Elgin Lords Park (see the location details).

Do you have a child entering Pre-K or Kindergarten who is learning to use the potty, or know someone who needs help with this milestone? We offer support and guidance.
